ACT (Aware Central Texas) will be launching its HELP campaign in January. It is a community wide effort to encourage the community to reach out and help someone in distress. This is how it will work. For a $5 donation, you will receive a card designed to be given out as a gift when you see a family struggling, parents screaming at their kids in the store; etc. If the recipient will accept your gift of the card, they can call ACT for free parenting or anger management classes because you paid for the class for them. The recipient will also be eligible for any other services offered by ACT. ACT provides education, encouragement and nurturing to
wounded/stressed out families.
